Your 3-star hotel in Paris

Welcome to your Provinces Opéra hotel
Planning a trip to Paris? Choose an address with character. At the Provinces Opéra hotel, you're immersed in a place steeped in a rich past and a unique charm. Formerly Henri IV's hunting lodge, this exceptional site has stood the test of time, first becoming a convent and then a hotel in 1850. Today, it retains its royal aura while offering the comfort and design of a modern hotel. Renovated in 2021, the hotel's heritage has been enhanced by the addition of a contemporary touch. Everything you need for a refined experience in the heart of Paris.

Renovation balances history and modernity
Just a stone's throw from the Opéra district, our 3-star hotel was renovated in 2021 by architect Béatrice Guivarc'h. The aim was to modernize the building while preserving its historic character. The project respected the soul of the place, integrating Parisian elements such as moldings in the rooms, and revisiting the bathrooms with a retro touch. A major challenge, as each of the 112 rooms is unique.

The Art Deco Bar
Born in the Roaring Twenties as a reaction to Art Nouveau, Art Deco first took hold in major European capitals such as Paris, before spreading internationally. This movement favored pure, geometric forms, strongly influencing architecture and design. It can be found in iconic Parisian landmarks such as the Palais de Chaillot and the Palais de Tokyo, as well as in our hotel's 1925 listed bar.

Works of art... and your hotel becomes a gallery
Discover the site-specific installation by Etienne Rey, an artist who offers spatial experiences based on your perception. In this work, mirrors arranged around spirals recompose space, revealing fragments of the glass roof behind. The nature of the space changes according to viewpoint and natural light.... This work is far from the only one: photographs and paintings await your curious eyes.
Art at Vacances Bleues: a beautiful love story
In addition to the historic setting, the hotel's walls are adorned with works of contemporary art, creating an elegant contrast between ancient and modern.
Unique to Vacances Bleues? Not really. In the 90s, the group made support for contemporary art a pillar of its patronage policy, alongside its solidarity, humanitarian and social actions. In 2006, these three areas of public interest were brought together under the Corporate Foundation. More patron than collector, Vacances Bleues owns a catalog of over 350 works. That's around 150 artists, all of whom have a strong link with the Marseilles region, either through their origins, their lives or their training at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Marseille. We remain attached to our Provencal roots...
But let's get back to the Provinces Opéra hotel, where you'll enjoy strolling along an artistic trail blending contemporary art and design. Admire photographs by Georges Rousse, Massimo Vitali and Sophie Calle, as well as the in situ work “Alter Ago” by designer Étienne Rey. His installation, featuring numerous mirrors, changes the space according to the viewer's point of view and the natural light. Étienne Rey has been awarded the Vasarely Foundation Prize.
